Quick check in, decent prices. Beautiful room with communal bathroom and a safe, multi-channel TV, coffee and tea making equipment. Great selection for breakfast. The staff were genuinely nice and food was healthy. Location adjacent to the ‘ cafe' and new hiking trails and the mountains and lakes in the Catskill region.
Uncaring staff!

The lobby and grounds were beautiful.
The room was clean but the whole atmosphere of the hallways and rooms was right out of a Stephen King novel.

The 18% tax for "resort" use. I didn't use any of the amenities.

The mountains were nice, walking around and the room was spacious and clean. We went to The State Park in Kerhonson that is why we were there.
I paid $169.00 with all the fees at checkout I ended up paying $218.00 for just a room, not evena cup of coffee. I felt that it was too much for an old hotel. They could have thrown in a breakfast for that amount of money.

Although they've given this hotel major renovations it still falls very short of what I would call a resort and spa. The nicest thing about this place is their website. We thought we were getting a deal but I'm reminded of the phrase "you get what you pay for." The room was bare but clean. They didn't even provide a coffee maker. I felt like we were in a hostel! No room service so our hopes for a romantic evening in fell through. Not my favorite place but the views were incredible and the grounds were really beautiful.

Clean spacious rooms.
Indoor pool schedule did not coincide with public schedule for quests. Day Camps used indoor pool, even though public schedule, handouts, said it was available for paying quests. It was not.

The rooms in this country hotel are beautiful. I was very impressed with the safe in the room, multi-channel TV, and coffee and tea making equipment. The location in Ellenville is gorgeous and stunning, close to the mountains and lakes in the Catskill region as well as a valley. The pool area is nice. The staff is genuinely nice and the check-in process was quick.

The Hotel staff was nice we received a call a few weeks in advance to warn us that there was a big "country Jamboree" group that was coming in the same weekend and that they tend to be loud. I thought that was very considerate. The lobby was newly remodeled and was nice. A note in the elevator said the hotel was under new ownership and hopefully is a sign of better things to come.
The front desk wasn't very informative about the amenities that were available to us. The hallways to our rooms were poorly lit and the wood in the floor creaked as we walked by. The room was clean but boring and the beds were uncomfortable. The whole complex is right next door to an abandoned resort and spa which adds to the creepiness-factor. But all in all we had no major issues while there and it was clean room to sleep in, but don't expect anything fancy

Honors Haven is a place that rejuvenated and rekindled our love for one another. It's a place to release and rebuild our mind and body spiritually and physically with golf, spa and sensual touch. We loved it immensely.
